Disneyland with the Roberts

How wonderful that we were able to take the children to Disneyland while we were in California! Through my brother in law, Scott, and some friends of ours back there, and Chip's dad, all six of us were able to get signed in! How cool is that?! The kids were totally surprised and so excited. We practically walked on to every ride - it was a great, great day. Hannah's birthday was two days later, so wearing the "Happy Birthday Button" at Disneyland made it an extra special day for her. We met my sister Jody, her husband Scott, and their three wonderful children there and we all had a blast. It was so enjoyable making up for lost time with the Robert's family.

All the cousins enjoyed being with one another so very much.

Beck was a good sport - because he was fought over and passed around all day! I didn't win as many fights as I had liked.

Here are the Splash Mountain riders!

We made a huge mistake by taking Jackson on Space Mountain first - totally terrified - cried the whole ride. After that, he refused anything dark, fast, or that had hills. At the end of the day, Aunt Jody bribed Jack with a Buzz Lightyear gun he saw and loved if he went on the roller coaster in Toontown - he had a horrible, miserable time, but he got that dang gun! He loves that gun, but I still think he is scarred for life - Especially cause his two cousins, both younger than him begged for more dark, fast, hilly rides! Ouch to the male ego!

Yes, he is smiling, but there is quite a fear in his eyes - the ride hadn't even moved yet!

Uncle Scott is one of those crazy people who don't mind, in fact, love spinning as fast as you can - how perfect for all the Tea Cup lovers - thank you Scott! (notice, no Jack!)

Jackson thought he had died and gone to heaven when he was chosen to be a Jedi and fight "Darthader"!

What a fun time we had at Disneyland! I hope the memories last for a very long time in every one's minds. I know they will in mine!
