FOOTBALL SEASON!

We are seeing, breathing, and eating BLUE and ORANGE again! After a perfect season last year, the city is even more pumped for the Broncos. Chip got to take Jack on a special outing (perfect timing with his big ride) to a BSU barbecue to kick off the new season.

If you don't know who Ian Johnson is, you better go do your homework and find out! He's not just an ordinary football player, ya know!

Needless to say, we don't play much catch with this ball anymore! Jack got a different ball for being so brave getting his K-garten shots. That's the ball he plays with now - he still uses a wipe to clean it off when he's all done though. But now this ball with Ian's signature sits on his Jack's dresser!

Jack also got to meet Coach Peterson - he even threw Jack a pass in the parking lot on the way out! It bounced off Jack's chest and fell to the floor, but Chip assured coach that we'd work on that one!

Never in a million trillion years did I think that Football would have any meaning in the Schultz household. YAY JACK! Way to go buddy!
Love, Gramma Kossub
P.S. And with Ian Johnson, too.
WOW!!!

I know, me too! We soon realized that when you live in Boise, you are a Bronco fan, or you shouldn't live here. :) The great part is, that we actually love being football fans now - Go BSU!!

Too cool! That is quite the honor to get that close to the coach and a star player. What a fun father-son outing.

Shucks! Guess that rules out Boise as a sight of future residence! :) Oh well...have to keep looking then. Seriously, though, what fun for Jack. I don't know who Ian is (or anything about him for that matter) BUT, when kiddos have someone special they admire and have the chance to meet them, THAT'S pretty cool! Glad to hear all is progressing for Chip on his travels too! Sending great thoughts your way and his!

Um, I don't know how I feel about this Tracy. We are true blue BYU around here. Maybe we can just pretend to not know this about each other so that we can remain friends.

I do remember seeing Ian Johnson ask his girlfriend to marry him, right after the newscaster spoiled the news. Who cares though, she said yes!

Do I have the right guy?
